i dun think handholding is possible. its even heavier than the 100-400L. my test shot was done mounted on a sturdy tripod.

maybe handholding the lens is possible if the sun is bright enough.

yup, it fits, but the hood has to be fitted in reverse.

Quite interested in the lens. could be a cheaper way to get to 600mm
