Nice. Are you a pilot taking pictures from the ramp on the pretext of doing your pre-flight walkaround? ;)

Very nice , do you have any more airliner shots to share with us ? :)

Hi mervin,

So does SQ fly the 777 to JNB now instead of the 747?

Mind if i asked what do you do at SQ? Boy if I had a job walking around planes daily, I prob won't get sick of it!

!

most routes are already taken over by the B777s as SIA are slowly selling off the B747s.

too expensive to operate now with the lower load factor, higher fuel cost,
small, newer and more efficient aircrafts of today.

I wish to see the A380 more
heard the test flight is on march

btw any good location in sinagpore to take airplane photo with 300mm lens max ?

there are plenty of places to take pics, Changi Coastal road and the route out of ECP to PIE/TPE.

Yo, nice nice.

Been a fan of airliners.net for a long time. Love planes, too bad can't be a pilot.

Anyhow, watch yourself when taking pics of planes in Singapore. Heard someone got busted and detained. Paranoid authorities. :bsmilie:

I worked in SIA for about 2 years. Have always been interested in how an airline is run.

I even learned there's a term coined called "aero-politics" :)

believe one can't ever take any pics if one is in the aircraft until it is airborn wth the "seat-belt" sign turn off.

meaning if u are in the aircraft, u cannot take any pics of the surrounding outside the aircraft until it is almost 20,000-30,000 feet up in the air.
by then u can only take pics of the blue sky or clouds or the pretty stewardness !!!!
;)
