hi,
pls pls pls, any dear soul to help me understand something that it's been in my mind for a long time now. TQ in advance!

what are the max shutter counts before a camera starts to fail, or what's the importance is the shutter counts.

i'm particularly interested in Nikon D100 and D70 models.

pls enlighten me? ;)

I don't know specifically for the D100 or D70, but IMO, its nothing to sweat over. Shutter failure WILL occur after prolonged use and all you need to do is to send in for replacement, much like changing tyres.

Cheers,

if u are scared, u can go to service centre and change shutter once it hits one hundred thousand counts ..roughly there

roughly about 100k, but **** happens and it could die on you on your very first shot. but that's very(x20) rare.
