Hi all.. a newbie here and would like to know how can we check for the shutter count in our DSLR camera? Heard that it can be reset? Pls advise.

I'm not sure if you can reset.
Use an EXIF viewer, like opanda.

Depends on your DSLR too. Which one do you have? For Canon, you need to bring it to the service centre.

Hi, yes i m using Canon. So must bring back to canon then they can check? Do they charge for the service? Mine still under warranty...

Warranty covers manufacturing faults and replacement of failing components.
Shutter count can be reset if the shutter has been replaced (due to whatever reason).
