Thought I start a thread proper, like the one for E-P1, to show the images from the Panasonic range of cameras.

Conditions to post are :

(1) State the camera model.
(2) What lens was used to shoot.
(3) Shooting information.

Thank you for your attention and please share the images from your camera.

Headfonz... over to you... :bsmilie:

A snapshot just to showcase the sharpness of the kit lens.

Hi
Been playing with the GF1 and a M/43 to Nikon F mount and
a Nikkor F8 500 MM Reflex lens.

Jet approach ISO400

Shooting in Raw, I am able to recover all the blown highlights when
metering at the suggested exposure.

I have also tested the M/43 adaptors with other lenses and
here are my findings:

Lens: SIGMA F2.8 180 degree FIsheye Nik F mount
Result: Picture badly cropped

lens: Nikon DX 12-24
Result: Usable

Lens: Tamron 90MM Macro
Result: Usable however Lens needs to be 2x furthur away than normal
- Great for skittish insects

Lens: Olympus 1.7 TCON + panasonic Pancake 20mm
result: Works no distortion need 55 -> 42 mm adaptor

Lens: Panasonic Pancake 20 mm with Raynox 250+ 150 Stacked
Result: Allows very close focus - almost touch lens - not too much
magnification though - I just happen to have this.
You need a 46 to 52 step ring to use the Raynox Lens Clamp OR you
could go direct with 46-49 ring

Hopes this helps you out

Allan

Hi Allan

Not too sure if you've tried this, but have you encountered any problems with the M/43 converter with Nikkor G lenses? These lenses are stopped down and do not have any manual aperture rings.

All taken with G1 kit lens in Aperture Mode. =) No post processing, just resizing.

Hi
You buy the NOVOFLEX ($320) shop next to Cathay Photo or a china one with a screw to adjust
the Aperature on G lenses.

GF1 with 14-45mm lens + Raynox 250
Aperture-priority mode
Focal length set at 25mm
f/stop set at 4.5 / 5.6
Shutter speed range from 1/60 - 1/250
No pp done. Photos straight from GF1.

amazing stuff. the raynox 250, its a screw on macro kit isit?

yes, it is screwed onto an adapter that's provided together. adapter is clipped onto the front of the lens.

Hi,guys, just got my G1 recently so shoot a lot ,quite happy with it,thinking of getting the 7-14 but a bit expensive,so using the kit lens and some on adapter

Tried the cam for a couple of days and don't really like it....
If only Sony is going to launch a APS sized Cybershot R2 with interchangeable lens system. I've been dreaming of this since the R1 is launched. G1 is close but somehow not what I would have liked it to be.

Nice picture taken. Is this photoshopped or out of the camera straight? What is this effect call? Wanna learn more on taking this kind of photos
