The sweat might makes the patch comes off.

Reading helps: it's not a skin patch, it's not a cloth patch. It's a sticker to be worn on the clothing, or it can also be but on equipment that is carried.
It's the same as if you spray the lemon oil on a hankie and put it into shirt pocket.

I use the Tiger Balm mosquito patch. Reasonably ok lah. My wife can't stand the smell though.
