60D if $$$ is not a problem. And may sure to get a good lens with it.

is the kit lens 18-200mm good?? i saw a offer at funan and this shop was selling 550D with 18-55 lens and 55-250 lens at a price of 1748 so i was wondering whether to get this or the new 60D with 18-200 lens at the price of 2299..

Just a word of advice. The ergonomics/grip of the 550D is not substantial for most people. They get it cos its light and/or cheaper. However once you mount a heavier lens like the 18-200 or the 17-55 or any telephoto L lens, you'll wish you had a heavier body to compensate or counter the weight.

Personally i own the 500D and it feels unbalanced with my 18-200 even with grip. Yes if the price isnt a concern, i dont see why the 60D shouldnt be on your list =D

for the comparison of lens 18-55 and 55-250 is not better than a 18-200?? am i right?

Yes it is better since its more convenient. But the price of this lens is worth more than the 2 lenses combined.

If u have the dollars, I would buy the tamron 17-50 and 70-200F4L. Just buy the 2nd hand one but make sure to check it well!

so meaning should i get
18-55 and 55-250? or
18-200?

If you are asking this question... it means that you don't really appreciate the difference in optical quality between the 2. It also means that both options are within your budget. In which case, go for the more convenient option, which is the 18-200mm.

The 18-200 is a very good lens to have around, even after you acquire better lenses, because of the sheer convenience. On days you are lazy to change lens, or the environment does not permit changing lenses... then the 18-200 will come in very useful.

I would prefer the 18-200 because sometimes you really do not have the time and space to change lenses

If money not an issue just get the 18-200 for its convenience

If you do not mind changing lens frequently then get the other two which is also cheaper.

But really which to get depends on your type of photography. I have the 2 lens but I use 55-250 about 90% of the time, so I can survive without the 18-55. But if you need to do photography in confine space like a room, then I will have to change the lens, which is a hassle.

So
18-200 = $$$ = convenience = better quality

u really should google on the camera bodies and lenses you are interested in and trying to decide which to buy. Different people will have different views on the same lens, so you will have to decide for yourself.

hey thanks!!!!! Guess i will read up more!! thanks everyone for your advice!!!!
