usually not allowed. when i shoot indoor matches i usually got for my 135 f2 AIS, but if yr not comfortable with MF, i d go with an 85 1.8D if not the 80-200 f2.8 might work in a pinch. 180 f/2.8D might be good too.

Ahh thks, I guess will b expected to shoot w/o flash..
If I b court side wil a 24-70 b useful?2.8 though.
Gd tht I hav an 85, seem tht could my main lens then..

70 200 F2.8/100 400/ bigma + monopod or 100mm/105mm/135mm/180mm

no flash required...normally the lighting is more than enough on stadium...even on school hall...

its a little short, and not sure what cam you're using, but only shot such shoots with a d200 and 2.8 was already too dark.

24-70 too short laa
if are FF than no need shoot liao
rent 70-200f2.8 :)

Yeah... use at a 70-200 f2.8. 24-70mm is too short, even when you are right next to the court... still too short.
