*anyone noes the i.d. of this moth?

erm.. ID i dun have, but it's not a moth i think.
moths have triangular wings pointing backwards.

Thats not a moth, its a butterfly. Moths (typically) have feathered antennae, this one does not. I'd hazard a guess, I think its a Striped Blue Crow (Euploea mulciber mulciber), probably a male.

wooo... thx for the effort to id this buttermoth. :D

well. i'm convinced this is a butterfly. thx garion. cos a prof told me this is a moth

why no one comment on pics. =P go learn from garion lol. i think some tilted angles/side-views ones would look nicer. ^^

*is it me or the pic quality abit grainy?

a prof?! omg.. wat kind of ppl are teaching our students nowadays...

Well i think the Prof is right...! Cos the simplest way to tell a moth from a butterfly is : a Moth opens up their wings while a Butterfly close their wings when in Rest. Some Moths may look like butterfly even without the feathered antennae. :)

wooo.. i'm enlightened :bsmilie:
