This our 1st outing after Pentax and Ricoh combine . Meet up with the usual guys and few new friends there as well . While the rest are still battling with the macro , I got to rush back to look after my son . Nevertheless this my homework for today .

It's fun outing today, met some new faces. The weather's also quite nice for macro. I skipped the sunrise part and went directly to the park.

Here are my homework for today, all taken with Vivitar 105mm macro and char kway teow plate diffuser :)

Imam, your lighting seems excessive. Quite some harsh white spots seen. Either not stop down enuf or high iso or....

actually today, i tried to keep to ISO low (max 400-500), so flash full power all the way. that could explain the excessive lighting :bsmilie:

Using Fa43 ltd with vivitar macro converter only so dun mind the quality.
Never shoot macro before and also using pop-up flash with easy bounce diffuser only.

I really like the macro shots ... Oceanpriest/Iittoo, your wolf-spiders shots are FANTASTIC! I wish I had the patience.

Can't say I have many keepers this round for macros.
My lighting setup screw up a bit with the foam diffuser coming off w/o me realizing for many of the shots, resulting in pretty harsh lighting.
Bright conditions don't quite agree with the Q's max flash sync speed of 1/15 too..... (hopefully, the OEM adapter will change this)

Some macros....
