Here a rules from dpreview:

The Rules...
The host gives you a topic and an image to get you going. You post an image. The host chooses the winner. The decision of the judge (the Host!) is final. The judge is not eligible. The winner then chooses the next topic, judges the winner and passes on the baton to that person.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some guidelines:
Either embed your image in the thread or supply a link to it. Click on preview to make sure it's what you want. Provide any additional information you want.
You may enter up to *three* pictures, but try to put them within a single post. Also, please give a title to each photo...makes it easier to differentiate when giving comments.
Please limit the size of your entries to conserve bandwidth. 150K or less works well. As a show of courtesy, and to save bandwidth, please remove the original post when replying, so you don't bring back any previous photos.

I thinkt no need prize also can. Just a for fun kind of thing would also be fun.
These challenge are meant to be fun and motivate CSers to go out and shoot. No more "nothing" to shoot excuses. ;p

How many days do you think the challenge should run? 2 weeks? 1 month?
For those who are interested, please show your interests and I'll kick started the challenge by this week. :D

Actually, to host a competition is tough.
I know as I'm "in charged" of a virtual competition in another forum and it's already a headache. ;)
Agree that it is tough, but I feel that TS deserves to be commended and encouraged for trying this out.
No harm giving it a shot! :)
Hope that he will garner enough support.

I feel that having it weekly will be quite rushed.
1 hr to decide winner seems quite stressful :)
Perhaps 10-12 days to shoot and a couple of days to decide "winner" + announce new theme?
Basically cycle repeats fortnightly...

I feel that 1 week is too short. Need to give enough time for shooting, most of us are either working adult or student who can only shoot during weekend. So maybe for a start, we'll do 2 week once.

I would suggest it to be a monthly thing?
1st of the month: Theme announced
20th: Closed for voting by CS members
30th: Winner announced
Cycle repeats...

I support this suggestion. What is the point to rush thing through? ;)
