Hi,

I'm a newbie to SFF PCs tho' i've always assembled my own computers :)

Looking to acquire a SFF PC as a 2nd computer to act as a print server, store backup files and to batch process RAW files etc so that i can use my main PC for other stuff (hope to operate the SFF PC using Windows XP remote desktop so no monitor will be attached). Will be using the 10/100 Mbps Lan connector to connect to my home network. I may also attach a DVI graphics card to use as HTPC occasionally with a projector.

In summary:

(1) AGP slot for DVI graphics card
(2) usb/firewire
(3) space for 2 3.5" hard disks
(4) 10/100 Mbps ethernet connector
(5) quiet for HTPC use
(6) Cheaper the better
(7) SPDIF inputs/outputs (optional, can always get Audigy USB)

Any specific recommendations? Prefer Intel because it runs cooler (one previous bad experience with overheating AMD) Shuttle is the famous brand but so many different models at Sim Lim.

For image editing / processing, highly recomend a dual head graphics. Only drawback is once you've use a dual monitor setup, u'll never want to go back to a single monitor setup.

As to the other stuffs, I'm not upto date with the latest so won't be able to advice
