Don't know if my tripod is too flimsy.
The light trails are a little zig zag at the ends... :dunno:

I press the shutter and immediately let go and let the camera stand alone already but still zig zag...

Any suggestions to improve?

Pretty nice shot you got there. Should be the way you press and depress your camera. Try to be more steady and still after you press the camera.

maybe i press and let go the camera still shaking with the tripod... :dunno:

A better tripod will make the difference......
I bought a new one which is more steady and heavy but the fotos shoots looks a lot better......

Actually, A80 does have remote... well some sort ...

Canon's s/w remote cature do allowed the use of a PC/Laptop to trigger off the shutter thru the USB connection. The only problem.. you do have to bring it ard.

Hi,

You've got quite promising shots there, may I know the settings you used ? I was also using my a80 on 9thAug to capture the SFF :D

A80 got the 2 secs self timer...use that nex time. :D

it's a good idea but fireworks with timer very hard to gauge timing... :D
thanks for this idea.

going to put a hook on the tripod to make it more stable. and hopefully it will be more stable. :D
