Serial number on lens body

Does all lens have serial number embedded onto their body?
If yes, where is the serial number on tokina lens??

Just got one from bns and i can't seems to find it...

No serial number means "chiong" one or???

From what i know even grey set are "original" without warranty right?

Is it possible to get a "chiong" lens?? lol

just got my 2nd hand Tokina lens today..

there should be a serial number on the underneath of ur Tokina lens too..

however i could not find any serial number on my Nikkor one..

anyone using Nikkor lens has the same experience?

you can find serial number engraved underneath the lens, at the rear.

Mine also have JAPAN after the serial number, no "MADE IN JAPAN"...
