Your final prints look blue now because Uncle Broadway knows the pics will change colour and become more red in the years to come.........so after about ten years the colour looks normal..

Actually no. They say that the final output is different from the print because printing on canvas is like that one. So, it's normal.

But they never explain why the people in the smaller canvas looks ok, and the people in the big canvas look like they are a bit sick.

Maybe when the people look like Smurfs, then they calibrate their printer? ;p

actually, according to a product manager/sales engineer type person from a leading medium format back manufacturer, people in Germany like faces that are slightly bluish... really, he said that at a product seminar... ;p

the print problem is that alot of people who do prints just aren't bothered with profiling... even the big time people who only do prints as their core business... and if the clients do not make the effort to correct the colour or don't mind the end result, then there is no effort to adjust...

It is true. The Germans like their pictures cold. I read that in many articles.

However, the problem with Broadway is... clients like my parents-in-law complain, but they say it's normal for the portraits to look like that. There is no effort to adjust regardless.
