Anyone tried going for a sensor remapping to fix dead/hot/stuck pixels? how was the result? did it solve your pixel issues? was it 100% effective? reason im asking is Nikon Service Center told me theres no guarantee that it will be resolved after the sensor re-mapping (not sure abt other camera brands) Please share your experience. thanks for reading!

hot pixels might occur during high iso/ long exposure but not during lower demand usage...or it might juz present no matter what setting.
After viewing the pics you put up on the other thread, I don't know if it's really hot pixel since it doesn't show at f6.3. In my opinion, lucky you;)most of the time you would shoot above f6.3 in good light right?so no concern...haha.. and for those time that you do see the hot pixel, just photoshop it since it's only a small dot from what I see.:)
