Hi

I just realized that the images taken by my camera camera shows bright spots (all sorts of colours) when I shoot in bulb mode (~60sec) at night. To confirm, I shot with the lens cover on (with the same settings) and see the same spots again. Are these spots call dead pixels on my sensors?

Cheers

It's long exposure noise. When the sensor is active, it's being heated up. And it will produce the noise.

But there are only a few spots, not covering the whole image.
