was wondering... will the first one be nicer with the blue pool water also?

also.. i think if the padyak pinoy is in color it will look good also... but that's just my guess...

Jelimon, there are several ways to do this but what I normally do is select the part of the image which you want to remain colored, select inverse and convert the rest of the image to b&w.

I think this a really cool effect. I especially like the shot with the sunglasses. Now time for me to figure out how this is done and try it out.

Hi Triggerfish & cichild,

You can do this in PS, just mask out the portion you want to keep the color and desaturate the rest. A lot of patience is needed. :)

Yup. You can do it in PS.
