Hey guys, here are several more shots taken in 2008 which I have not posted before. I'll post up the pics here but if anyone is interested I have a small write up and some info on what I use to recover the otherwise massively blown skies. There are some behind the scenes shots there too. You can read about it here: http://www.justin-oh.com/blog ;)

some nice work here, but overcontrasted on my screen.

the eye can see far more tones, i would choose to bring that tone out in entirety rather than trying to achieve drama with high contrast. there is drama there already. adding too much spice to the brew spoils it.

the framing in the first post tends to be less desirable; in wide scenes, every detail counts.

p.s. you seem to have dust.

more please! :)

Thanks for commenting guys :)

Hi night86mare! The shots were intentionally processed with high contrast as the lighting then was pretty harsh already. I wanted the shots to have the movie 300 feel to it :) And yes, there are some dust spots left uncloned :p

I will certainly be revisiting this spot again, with the 617 hopefully :)
