SDHC Card unable to read

Just bought a camera that came with a 8GB SDHC card.

However when I inserted the card into my computer, it was unable to recognize the SDHC card.

Suspect it could be that my driver is not updated, but I could not find any software updates for download.

Would like to ask if there are any solutions?

can u try to use the data cable from ur camera and try using ur camera as a "card reader"?

Is your card reader able to read these SDHC cards? Check which card reader you have in detail, google the specs. A good idea is to get card reader and card from the same brand / vendor, especially if it is the first card of this type you acquire. Reduces compatibility issues to a minimum.

My laptop/desktop SD card slot is not SDHC compatible.. meaning card with more than 4GB or SDHC rated cannot be read by the build in card readers. I believe that is the problem.. get a external SDHC card reader.

yup..as mentioned by chaingkxv, try with a SDHC card reader.
