Sandisk not ScanDisc.

Try long formating it.

To prevent corruption of data on your card, always read the card from the camera, i.e., use the USB cable to plug to your camera from yr computer.

Also, it is always recommended to have the camera format your card so that it sets up the filesystem needed for your camera to read and write to.

HTH.

m.. why not just settle with sandisk? this brand so far never fail me unlike kingston. not sure about toshiba.

Any sources to support this?

well. i dunno

as far as i tried and experimented before,

corruption of data only applies when :1:
a sudden burst of electricity flows into the card by accident, via suddenly power increase when u plug in the card to pc.

OR

u stupidly put a magnet near the card. and i think now most cards are magnetically shielded.

or

u just did something random by accident.

LOL

Nope it could be the company claim what it is not suppose to claim.
I have experienced 4 failures of kingston CF card, 3 of normal, 1 extreme all at the same time.
How do you explain that? While Sandisk works fine.

For a moment, I thought ScanDisc is a Sandisk knock-off :bsmilie:

I format my CF card in-camera each time after I transfer all the pics to my PC.

my stock kingston sdhc 8gb card comes with my k-x oso can read from camera but not for computer. used usb cable to transfer from camera body to pc each time. btw i dunnoe how to format my memory card using camera. i have only 'delete all images' in the option, dun have 'format memory card'. anyone can enlighten?
