SD to Cf card adapter

Hi guys... Need some advice here. I'm looking at the SD to Cf card adapter. Any of you used it before or have any opinions about it?

Something like this one...

My main concern is that the even if I use a high speed SD card, will the speed be affected by the adapter?

And other than east gear, is there a cheaper place to get it?
