Hi,

Newbie here..

Took out SD card from the Canon Ixus 860 to put into card reader to 'import' into the computer. Then, it just stopped at picture number 3. Ejected the card, then tried again.. this time around, the computer doesnt recognise the card. Put the card into the camera and it says Memory Card error.:confused: :(:(:(

Experts out there, any way for me to retrieve the remaining pix on the card? Where/who can I go to?

Thanks in advance.

Try this:

1. Put SD card back in camera

2. Connect camera to computer with the USB cable and retrieve your pictures.

Note: If the above does'nt work, you need to download freeware to recover pictures from SD card. Google for freeware.

Make sure you use the USB cable to transfer pictures from your camera to computer in future.

I use this the last time:

Opppss... seems like i need more than that....

Tried the software you recommended and also used the Lexar software.. all cannot detect....

This is what I get from the Disk Utility....

Verify and Repair volume “disk2s1”
** /dev/disk2s1
could not read boot block (Permission denied)
Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed.

Looks like your data are corrupted when you insert SD card into computer.

If the software does'nt work, you'll need professional help (data recovery); this is costly.

It seems like it... any recommendations for professional help?

How important are those pics?
