need to ask whats the setup for shooting screens?
screens like computer screens and mobile phones - glaring screens
what filter to buy? heard that CP helps?

anyone know? and not by using print screen button please

Don't think CPL is a good idea for LCD screens as LCD screens are polarized, so it will turn completely black if you polarize the light to the LCD screen at 90 degrees.

Can try HDR? Never try before.

Don't forget to set your shutter speed to 1/50 - 1/75 depending on your screen frequency. If not, you'll have vertical lines in your photos.

switch off all the lights and shoot without flash at shutter of ard 1/30s.

Shoot at shutter speed way below the screen refresh rate (typically 1/50 to 1/75). Go as low as possible. ExplorerZ's recommendation of 1/30s should be good. (This applies to shooting with film also.) If shutter speed is equal or higher than the refrech rates, you will see horizontal lines or partial screen. If using camera phones or the like, try using night mode.

No circular polarisers! They do not work with LCD like Frenchbean mentioned.

IIRC, for LCD monitor/TV, there is no flickering like CRT/plasma monitor/TV.

For LCD monitor/TV, Polarizer filter will block the LCD output in some angle, so it is should be avoid. For Handphone or PDA screen too.

Use tripod and slow shutter will help :thumbsup: . No need flash.
