SB600 on canon 40d

A friend lending me a flash for trying. Will Sb600 fit on canon 40d?

Will it fire? Will the functions work?

It should fit and fire, but most functions will not work.

But still better to have compared to built in flash, if shooting is done at night at sentosa right?

i tink it shud be manual lor... definitely better than built-in...

More powerful than built in.. But you are going to need to know how to do almost completely manual eh.

if you wanna be safe, tape up the contacts other than the centre pin.. and yes, you'll be on manual only..
