SB400 other options ?

is there any better 3rd party flash for me to consider ?

Bro, both flashes are bigger than SB-700. 866 is abt the same size as SB-900.

Try SB-400 or those small profile sunpak flashes

Edit: Oops, I tot ur title reads SB-600

You may want to consider the Nissin Di466, it is cheaper and more powerful than the SB-400. However, note that the SB-400 is possibly the smallest tilt/bounce flash there is for Nikon iTTL hotshoe.
