Sandisk have boosted their Extreme III range with new SDHC™ and Memory Stick PRO Duo™ cards available in 4GB capacity. Rated as a 'Class 6' device, the SDHC™ media is guaranteed to deliver in excess of 6MB/s sustained write speed, with Sandisk claiming 20MB/s in sequential read & write. The Memory Stick PRO Duo™ meanwhile is said to deliver 18MB/s under the same conditions. Additionally, the SDHC version will come complete with a card reader suitable for the new high-capacity specification.
