nobody will want to invest in Compact Flash, the price keep falling, and it will get replaced by better and newer model very soon.

anyway, I don't recall people still keeping price list of CF cards nowadays.....

FYI, I bough my first don't know what brand normal speed 512MB CF card @ $240. :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

i bought my normal speed 4gb kingston at $38.90.

how u find this price of $38.90? sounds cheap? and ya thats what i thought when i bought them about 9 months+ back.. and that time i tot its already the bottom of the valley with nowhere to drop anymore

guess wat, to my surpise, it is selling for abt $25 now!! wat the hell rite? a 36% drop in price for something that is already so low priced compared to its Sandisk cousins..

wat i m trying to drive is, all the CF, SD cards will just drop in price. There is utterly NO POINT to "invest" in high end for memory cards. Memory card is the fastest thing to go obsolete, before u even know it.

Wow. I first bought my Sandisk Extreme III 4G about a year ago for the same price as the 16G (S$117.8) now. Not forgetting all the previous 64MB, 512MB, 1GB CF. The price of storage (thumbdrive, SD, CF) drops very drastically and counting by weeks/days (like stock price) and 1 month can make a big difference now. So lesson learned for me previously is don't buy any until when you really need them :D
