SFH-14 holder solves the common problem of attaching filters to the lens which is not fitted with a filter thread due to its specific construction. It was made of light and durable ABS plastics. To eliminate internal light reflection the lens was matted and blackened from the inside in the process of flocking, gaining the velvety black tone. The holder has two rails which allow the use of one or two filters at the same time. Owing to their rotational construction, filters may be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. The holder is sold with three rectangular filters in 161 x 139 x 3mm format, specially designed and produced by the reputable Cokin company.
They include the following models:
Cokin 154 ND8 - neutral grey filter with ND8 gradation allowing to slow down shutter speed and obtain blurring effect for objects in motion (i.a. clouds, water, traffic). It will be also useful for filmmakers to help them obtain small depth of field in strong lighting conditions.
Cokin 121M ND4 - grey half-filter intended mainly for landscape and architecture photography. It allows to reduce contrast between bright and dark parts of the frame.
Cokin 123S - blue half filter that may be used to register and intensify blue tone of the skies in landscape photography.
