i just think if u want to use the pillar as 'framing'..u should go a few steps nearer..

imo the subject is a piece of beautiful architecture but ermm.. the framing is too plain that actually do more bad then good... also the composition can be better..

I can definitely see the idea but as others have said it, more care should be given in framing your subject.

actually framing good or not, will not have much impact on this photo..go nearer and nearer..as near as u can..at this distance..framing doesn't help..

Hi, im new too, ha just giving my 0.02. The framing is nice, blending in the flavour of the place. But i cant help but wander to the top right corner of the pic due to the curve present. Makes it distracting from the subject. Dont know if cropping might help, but just my opinion. Happy weekend.
