Hi guys, good news for those who want to have their hands-on in shooting soccer... there will be a cage setup for photographers at the corner of the pitch.

Please note that 70-200mm is the recommended mimimum...
There is no limit on number of photographers but we will have to adhere to the restrictions...
- No Flash
- Keep within boudaries of cage set up

Please leave your names for those who are keen.

Heard that the photos of the last S-League shoot has been published on page 2 of Photoi, anybody seen them yet??

Anyone can advise on the typical exposure during a S-League game? I only have a 75-300 f4-5.6. Dunno if can "make it" or not. Please advise.

Cheers!

Recommended shooting speed is 1/500s...
F3.2 or F4 is just pushing it at ISO1000 for a bright stadium.

Considering that you'll shoot at 300mm frequently you'll be struggling with f5.6, not to mention the focusing speed.

Just sharing from the little I know...

Anybody knows how bright is Hougang stadium in comparison to Jln Besar?

How bright is it? Brighter than National Stadium I hope.

Jalan Besar stadium is the brightest of all.. Hougang stadium should be dimmer.

At Jalan Besar, i was getting 1/320 ~ 1/400 @ ISO 1600 @ f2.8

Hougang would probably be arnd 1/200 - 1/250 ... @ f2.8

A f2.8 lens will definetely be recommended.. f5.6 will probably give you shutter speeds arnd 1/100 - 1/125 .. quite a struggle to shoot sports with that speed.. Unless you wanna try other stuffs - Panning..
