Thanks for the sharing. It shows that photographers at that time are really creative in their photographic approach. With a thorough understanding of the art and the optical theory behind photography, they are able to create what seems impossible hundred years ago.

Just fabulous. We always think of olden time as being black and white or sepia, but these color pictures make it seem that these people from our great-great grandparents' time were snapped just yesterday !

Also, the old boatman in pic #14 was born in 1826!
