For ppl who goes there for the first time, remember to bring a hat, towel, water, both u and yr camera will be under hot sun for a long time, it is a giant outdoor oven!
 

do camera shop sell little hat for my lens & camera? and becare for it gonna be 32-35 degree hot unless it rains before it start ..

Well, the most whatever is made of rubber will warp like my focus ring or the inside of a cheap plastic lens will melt a bit.
 

I think sunlotion for my lens & camera .. hope it wont leave any tanned line ..

Do practice if you can before going...my kungfu a bit the rusty for these type of shots. Here are some tips from today practice shoot.

Should have EV compensated for the high speed setting i was using. Wasnt planning on silhouette.

More megapixels is good in this case because with 300mm, really need to crop unless somehow can smuggle 500mm lens inside.

Watch it when they start to climb, with the bright sky in background...AF can go haywire.

it can work if they are perfectly still if you want the "blurred rotor" effect or your panning is good to follow them around. Personally i prefer using at least 1/500.
