Need more creative composition, can try to shoot from different angle.
Also, take note of the flash. it is too harsh.

is act de SB400 external flash wif a diffuser.

Agreed with Jesmun. Not close enuff. Keep trying.

Its not in even focus, one half is dark, the other too bright
You could try it without the flash

The angle is not very intresting either

at this range u should use the rule of thirds...it'll be slightly better^^

shoot more, composition is the only thing we still can't automate

happy shooting ^^

1) Get closer
2) Open up your aperture
3) And note your flash power. Try to use natural light if possible.
