Zoom has announced the H2n, a portable audio recorder that incorporates five built-in mics, and one 3.5mm external mic input, for a variety of sound capture scenarios including mono, x/y stereo, two and four channel surround and mid-side (a recording technique that's apparently popular in the cinematic world).
