The annual PMA International Convention and Trade Show (recently re-branded CliQ 2011), one of the largest photography trade shows in the world, has been rescheduled. Instead of occurring in September 2011, as originally planned, it will take place concurrent ("colocated") with the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2012 in Las Vegas, NV, USA. The show's sponsors give no concrete reason for the change, but some reports claim that the absence of certain major manufacturers combined with ongoing effects from the Japanese earthquake and tsunami were contributing factors.
