In a press conference to announce an upcoming superzoom point-and-shoot camera called the X-S1, Fujifilm CEO Shigetaka Komori revealed that Fuji will be introducing an interchangeable-lens compact system camera next year. It will be part of the company's X-series model lineup, whose current flagship is the X100, a compact with an APS-C format sensor and a fixed lens.
