Armed with a Nikon D300 and two lenses, photographer William B. Plowman wasn't sure what to expect as he entered an underground flight club gathering in a nondescript Manhattan warehouse building. He ended up producing a set of gritty and compelling black and white pictures that capture the boxers and fans in equal measure. Plowman tells us how he approached covering the event.
