Canon today has announced the availability of the EOS E1 plug-in, which is meant to allow "simple and easy transfer of video content from Canons EOS DSLR cameras directly into Final Cut Pro." It's compatible with the EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D and EOS-1D Mark IV and is a free download from the Apple website, says a Canon USA press release.
