River Hongbao 2014 welcomes the Year of the Horse at The Float@ Marina Bay from 29th Jan to 8th February 2014. 2014 also marks the 28th consecutive year since River Hongbao was first held. Organized by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA), Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCCI), Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Peoples Association (PA), this annual event has long since become an integral part of Singapores Chinese New Year celebrations, attracting locals and tourists to come forth and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere which is open to public with free admission.
Explore Chinese culture through exhibitions, street food, cooking demonstrations, live music and dance. See large-scale displays of popular Chinese mythical characters against a backdrop of creatively decorated streets, the lights of the floating platform and boisterous firecrackers.
