Not sure if this is the right place to post this...

I have a Ricoh XR1 cam, a really really old one that is fully manual, according to ricoh jap website, it was manufactured in 1977-78.

I dunno if it still works, so thinking of sending it for a check. the last time we used this cam was years ago...but that time the pics were still good. anyone know if ricoh in singapore can service cams? i checked their website, but they only have digicams.

Or if anyone knows any shops where i can get the cam checked? some time ago we did approach a cam shop as the hotshoe no longer works, but they couldnt figure out whats wrong.

you can put a roll of film in and try it. send for develop-only or scan to CD, that should cost you about $8 max.

if not, you can try the camera hospital at sunshine plaza
