How many of us have taken pictures only to be disappointed with the results blurred images, incorrect exposure, poor composition etc? Overwhelmed and confused by all the technicalities of your DSLR? Falling asleep reading boring photography books? Then this course is for you.
Envision the world through your DSLR with our Basic Photography course. Our fun and creative sessions will guide you in navigating through the technicality and jargon and distill them into simple concepts that are easy to comprehend and more importantly getting you up and running in creating better images with your DSLR. Through a combination of interactive presentations, guided practicals and review sessions, you will appreciate the finer points in photography by developing essential fundamental techniques that will help you to become a better photographer. By the end of the course, participants will have develop a solid understanding in the fundamentals in creating images and will have with them a portfolio of images that reflects their newly acquired skills.
This is a beginners course targeting beginners DSLR users to help them tap into their equipment effectively and become proficient in taking pictures. The prerequisite for this course is that the participants have access to a DSLR camera. The outline of the course is as follows:

INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Jeff Loo - Jeff has been involved with photography for more than 18 years. He shares a keen interest to reach out to people through photography as well as to raise the appreciation and awareness of photography as a visual art form. He was a co-founder of The Photographers Gallery which was Singapores first art gallery dedicated to promote photography as a visual art form. A keen traveler, he has held solo exhibitions of his travelscape works. He also specializes in creative studio portraiture.
