Previously school children can be brainwashed through their text books.
Nowadays people are connected to the Internet and can read other versions.

Guess the very poor command of English by most Japanese will help their govt to cover it up, since they don't understand the differing versions in English language on the Internet.

I think history is good reference for decision making at times.... and learn from other people and their mistakes...
