respirator/gasmask?

I went to La Salle last year , and a photography student told me that he wore a mask with the filter canister whenever he was in the dark room.

I did like to get one too. Where could i find one?:dunno:

n95 can't filter cig smoke and fumes right?

the N95 mask is only a particulate filter, doesn protect u against fumes and chemical vapors.
You can consult ur friend who is using the respirator with the canister if there was some chemical that necessitated the level of protection ?

Seems a lil overboard right? Does he mean those gas mask we use for chemical warfare?? Dun think you can get it easily though.

get face masks with activated carbon layer. During the heavy haze period >10years back i used it. a lot of the smell got filtered out too. can't find it as easy in stores now though.
