reproducing photos

Not sure where to post this so here goes

To be exact, i need to reproduce a photo from an actual printed photo

i do not have the digital file .
How can i about this?

Do i scan the photo and reproduce from there ? Or ?

Is there a shop that does this?

you could scan it yourself if you have access to a scanner... doesn't hurt to try... if you are not satisfied, you could try a photo developing shop, or post a service wanted thread in the relevant subforum here
