Repair of Nikon Coolscan 5000

Hi All,

I have a Coolscan 5000 that requires servicing. I have brought it to Nikon Service Center and they are unable to do it as the part is no longer available. The faulty part is Mechanical Block Unit which needs to be replace.

Do you know of any place/person where it can be service, be it locally or overseas?

find out the parts name/number, look up from ebay, you might get lucky.
