My 70-200IS is flaking & showing black underneath. Anywhere that provide services to paint back the flaked surfaces?

How much will the paint job cost? Its a small area.

If it's a small area, no need to worry about it. Your equipment is there for you to use, not to pamper it like a baby. Flaking won't cause your images to be affected

I was thinking if i ever want to sell it, the flaked surfaces will depreciate the resale value.

Unless the buyer is a very niao person, I believe that he/she will be looking out for the condition of the glass first instead of cosmetics...

canon does not paint back the white paint

use white colour gaffer tape
