Remove rust from Domke hooks..

Anyone care to share how to remove also to prevent it from getting rusted?

all metal hooks from my Domke is rusted...sad....

WD40.. spray and wipe it off (gently)

at least will have some protection..

thats what i did last time no rusty problem

standard rule is remove rust..THEN PAINT over if opt for paint?

i think you can sand away the rust after that paint again lo. that will help also..

Domke uses materials that rust? For the price you pay that's a little disappointing.

You can check some good hardware shop, I know there is a rust inhibitor that transform The rust into a hard coating 'black color' then the surface will not rust again.Sorry could not give you the name of this product.
