Hi guys, anyone of you had tried to remit money to philippines bank? i read that I-remit and metrobank in luckly plaze has service like that for $3-4..

I tried a remit service in hdb neighbourhood but it doesn't send to philippines..

anyone can share the cheapest way to remit it? thanks.

i guess there was a similar thread, but is expired.

you guys do remitting to philippines before?

i used to go to i-remit... bank to bank to service at around $4-$5
and $9-$10 for door to door service... not too sure if this one is still correct price...
now im using western union... takes only 15mins...

i actually no idea what is 'i-remit', i just read about it, where can i find this service?

can't get what is door to door service.. i used western union before..but i think it charges like certain percentage of amount..which isn't the most cheapest way..

thanks for reply

i-remit is located 3rd level of Lucky Plaza...
door to door service means that the money you sent will be delivered right to the recipient's door step...

oic..thanks guys for reply..guess dbs also a good choice.

I used DBS for the previous maid. I guesses there might be cheaper choices, but since I was not too familiar, I chose the only name I knew. Anyway, $6/- service charge does not sound too expecially, I think. If you do a TT, it is much higher
