Recovered images unable to open

Hi,

I have just recovered some images from a corrupted Lexar CF card using the Lexar recovery software. The recovered images is saved in TIFF but I am not able to open it using my PS CS. It says unable to open file due to unsupported compression method. Any other way I can open these files and edit them.

You might have to convert the TIFFs to JPGs in order to open them. Not sure how to do so though, perhaps downloading a freeware converter should do the trick.

... IrfanView comes to mind (www.irfanview.com). Supposedly able to read TIF in some compressed formats. Give it a spin and hope it works.
